Handmade candles created with my blend of coconut wax using Coco83 boast a superior burn time and fragrance throw. After a 4-hour burn, there is no wax hang-up on the sides of the jar and the top of the candle looks as if it were just poured. Also, coconut wax does not produce soot so any eventual black soot on the jar or in the wax comes from the wick, which I endeavor to eliminate with proper testing. I have noticed that using a wood wick tends to produce soot more times than not after the candle is burned past the halfway point.
